Kaki Makan Cafe sits inside Changi Airport Terminal 4, making it a convenient spot for travelers looking to grab a quick bite or coffee before their flights. As a cafe and Halal eatery, it blends the casual vibe of a coffee shop with familiar local flavors, serving items like nasi lemak, kopi C, kaya butter toast, and shaomai. The location inside the Departure Transit area means it tends to draw a steady stream of passengers on the move, which explains the typically brisk pace behind the counter.

The atmosphere is practical and functional rather than lounge-like, catering to those who want their food and drinks without much wait. Despite the steady flow of customers, the staff handle orders efficiently, so queues move fairly quickly, especially during peak travel hours. For a traveler seeking a quick taste of Singapore with a nostalgic touch, the peanut butter steamed bread stands out — warm, soft, and noticeably moist even when served outside a traditional steamer setup.

Food portions are modest, fitting for airport dining, with dishes like the crispy lemongrass fried chicken nasi lemak offering a satisfying, though not oversized, meal. Prices are on the higher side, which is common for airport outlets, so this spot is best for occasional indulgences or when craving familiar local flavors before a flight rather than daily visits.

Visitors looking for affordable local coffee will find the kopi C here both authentic and quick to serve—a reliable option when rushing through Terminal 4. The cafe suits solo travelers, transit passengers, or anyone wanting a brief pause without straying far from their gate. Because seating is mostly indoors and utilitarian, it’s less a place to linger and more a practical pit stop for a quick, familiar bite and good coffee.

Enjoy the nostalgic taste of the past before you depart from Singapore! Peanut Butter Steamed Bread ($2.80 for 2 pcs) I love steamed bread so of course I opted for this! The peanut butter encased within was warm and flowy, bringing out its nutty flavour. The steamed bread slices were thick but they were soft and fluffy with the moisture retained even though it was not served in a steamer! I dipped the edges into the coffee and it soaked up the coffee like a sponge. Set A-Kaya Butter Toast ($5.90 with regular drink, $6.50 with large drink) This was really worth it considering that it’s airport food (usually more pricey) plus it was cheaper than Yakun’s Set A! While Kaki Makan Cafe uses white bread instead of wholemeal bread, you get 6 square pieces of toast which is such a steal for the price! The thick slab of melty butter oozes out as you take a bite. I love how crispy the toast was! And of course, you have to dip it in the runny soft boiled eggs like a true blue Singaporean! They also have Lo Mai Gai ($3.90), Fan Choy ($3.90), Chicken Siew Mai (3 for $3.90), Chicken Char Siew Bun ($1.50) and Chicken Bun ($2.50) if you just want a light bite before your flight. For a more filling meal, there’s also Crispy Fried Lemongrass Chicken Nasi Lemak, Rendang Chicken Nasi Lemak and Sambal Chicken Nasi Lemak at $8.90 ala carte or $11.90 with 2 pieces of fried vegetable spring rolls and your choice of barley, kopi or teh. Kaki Makan aims to recreate the experience of a local coffee shop into a fresh and modern dining concept for the Muslim Community. Enjoy authentic local delights such as Minced Chicken Noodle, Laksa and their signature Crispy Lemongrass Chicken Nasi Lemak with an aromatic cup of freshly brewed Nanyang-style Kopi. Patrons can also have a quick snack of Steamed Bread/Toast with Butter and Homemade Kaya or steamed dim sum for the truly local experience. You can satisfy your cravings for local treats any time with this open 24/7!

Affordable KOPI you can find in T4, I always had a coffee every time I am at T4. Coffee was good, the only thing is that the queue always long and luckily u won’t queue for long as they serve quite fast. They offer food as well such as nasi lemak and bread.

it was my first time trying the crispy lemongrass fried chicken nasi lemak and all i can say it was just nice, the portion everything was okay, the chicken could be bigger (preferably breast meat). the price was quite expensive knowing its located in an airport so i cant say much to that. i would eat this when im really craving craving for it other wise i wont eat it for daily basis here. still satisfied with the portion and the taste. the rice is nice and fragrance they use basmati rice if im not wrong. other than that, thank you so much :)
